Hey guys! You can tell by the title todays poem is about a Voodoo doll. Now firstly, I have to give credit to the one and only Dhriti for this poem idea! Thanks a lot Dhriti! Now secondly- I know Voodoo dolls have more behind them, the religion, the whole sorcery and spiritual thing…but I didn’t wanna get into all of that in the poem so I just kept it simple about how they are broken and creepy.

An eerie stare of terror and hate,
Staring into oblivion- straight,
A broken heart, a twisted soul,
Eyes as dark as burnt coal,
Not a smile on broken lips of fright,
Torn apart and sewed together tight,
Broken in many places and many ways,
Always wandering astray,
Broken on the outside and within,
Covered everywhere with silver pins,
Yet an ghostly murmur and a glare,
Gently swims through the air,
A twisted smile sinister and sly,
Shakes all the passerby’s
A gentle groan an eerie snicker,
As it sneaks’ around quicker and quicker,
A beautiful heart of red,
Covered by pins it endlessly bled,
A doll like none other ever seen,
A voodoo doll with an evil gleam.
